Recognition & licence
Working with a licensed private detective is your best guarantee of a legally built case file and a usable final report. Amberes Investigations is licensed by the Federal Public Service for Home Affairs under number 14.1839.09.

In Belgium, the profession of private detective is regulated by law. Only those who are recognised and licensed by the Federal Public Service for Home Affairs may carry out investigations professionally. That licence is not a formality: it guarantees an investigation that respects privacy legislation and evidence that is collected lawfully.
Amberes Investigations is licensed under number 14.1839.09. Every investigation is conducted in accordance with the Act of 18 May 2024 regulating private investigation. We first assess whether your request has a legitimate interest, conclude an investigation agreement and comply with the profession's code of conduct.
A legally compiled file stands up in court. Evidence collected outside the legal framework can be rejected by a judge and may then be used against you. By working with a licensed agency, you ensure a final report that is well received by most judges, useful for your lawyer or in court.
